There's A New Girl In Town. A New Prototype Book Is On The Way! 

I'm excited to announce that this May, I'll be releasing the second book in The Protoype series, Finding Kennedy.

Now, I know it's been a good minute since the first book in the series, Happiness in Jersey was released. Actually, it's nearly been two years. Wow. In my defense, I'd planned to release the second book this past summer. Clearly, that didn't happen. In  fact, I didn't write a single solitary fictional sentence the entire summer. It was all bad. But it was all good because instead I just consumed. I actually called it my Summer of Consumption to make myself feel a little better.  I watched movies, TV shows, listened to music, and spent time with my little one. Basically, I reset my brain. 

Then I figured, okay, summer is over now I can write! But nope. That ain't happen either. I sat down to write about Devin and Willow, who I initially planned to be the first couple to follow Zay and Jersey's story, and noting would come. But do you know who did show up? A girl named Kennedy James. 

Months later, here we are. 

So who is this new girl in town? Kennedy is obviously a new character to the series, and if you're familiar with my work, you'll know that she's ... different. A little weird. Sad. Kinda complex. In the midst of a life change. Hopefully, you'll be as intrigued by her as I was when she came to me, screaming in my head in the wee hours of the night.

Of course, Kennedy isn't the only character you'll meet in this new book. Travis Broussard, Zay's guitarist cousin and one of the founding members of The Prototype is here as well. And while you were first introduced to him in Happiness in Jersey, you'll really get to know him in this book. Let me just say, I love all of the men I've written for various reasons—Brian, Dorian, Zay... but Travis? Whew. He's somethin' special.
