So, I'm working on the second book in the Prototype series right now and got re-inspired to take a look at the Happiness in Jersey playlist I'd made a while ago. I realized the playlist was kind of incomplete. The music in HIJ was all over the place-- rock, jazz, soul, funk... much like how  I envision the sound of the band. If your taste is a little more eclectic, you should be able to jam to this list.

I've been writing a lot lately. Thank the LORD I'm out of my writing slump. It was so very, very tragic for a minute there. But I'm back! The Yay-Factor is super serious, let me tell y'all.

Anyway, I finally got around to making the playlist for Less Than Forever, so the #LoveAlways Series Playlist is officially complete. Woo-hoo! Unlike the Better Than Okay/More Than Always playlists, this one doesn't include only the songs mentioned in the book because Dorian and Raven obviously had their own thing happening and didn't play "The Lyric Game" like Brian and Destiny did. So instead, I've included the songs that are mentioned in the book (Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black" and Estelle's "American Boy" among them). But I also added songs that just emphasize the vibe of the story--where the characters were individually and in their relationship. I listened to a lot of Jhene Aiko while I was writing this. "Living Room Flow" was one that I played a lot, especially while I was writing one particular scene (if you've read the book, clearly you know which scene I'm talking about).  But alas, the song isn't on Spotify so I put another favorite of mine, "Pressure" on the list instead, along with a few others.

Hopefully you dig it. I know I've been jamming to it as I'm working on my new book.
